Delighted to be selected for these Awards this year from my new direction of work I am presently compiling into a body of art pieces. This is my No#2 Bars To Liberation. Following my ethos of using recycled and repurposed items this has been made from packing timbers, along with inlaid wood, Aluminium strapping, paints, resin and Aluminium channeling. I selected materials that are either raw or show the scratches of pervious life to compliment the raw aspect of the base materials. This piece 980mm x 770mm is a statement piece.
